Sweep Up the Southeast returns in 2027 with a new name and a mission that now reaches well beyond the Southeast. Welcome to Sweep Up.
What began as a regional stewardship effort is now a nationwide movement to restore the outdoors. Many hands make small work.
Want to Lead a Team?
Captains are the heart of Sweep Up. If there’s a stretch of public land near you that needs attention, we’ll give you the resources and support to organize a cleanup there. Captain applications are open through November 17, 2026.
Sweep Up Day is Saturday, April 17, 2027.
Volunteer registration opens February 17, 2027, right here on this page. That’s when we’ll add the teams, locations, and tickets.
